Jacob Herbst is chief technical officer (CTO) at Dubex A/S and one of three founders of the company. Dubex provides consultancy, managed security services and solutions within cyber and information security to a large number of Denmark's large and medium-sized companies and organisations.

As an cyber security specialist, Jacob has more than 25 years of experience. Jacob closely follows developments within cyber and information security and advises Dubex's customers about risk management and security strategies. Jacob is used as an expert in the media and contributes to articles in news media and industry-specific media and magazines.

Jacob Herbst is also a member of the National Cyber Security Council, the government's Virksomhedsforum for Digital Security, as well as a board member of Dansk Automationsselskab (DAU).
Jacob Herbst is a civil engineer from DTU with a specialization in data security and has worked with cyber and information security since 1995.
